Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Technology Lead at R/GA:
On any given day you might
-Lead and manage a team of developers, and drive the execution of complex front-end projects and backend integrations
-Deploy innovative responsive web applications for our clients in the investment / banking and finance fields
-Utilize new web development technologies to find creative solutions for web, social, and mobile apps
-Use your knowledge of server-side technology to architect applications, and partner with client tech teams to drive project execution
-Communicate directly with clients, and collaborate with Visual and Experience Designers to execute projects in line with client expectations
The ideal person
-Is a natural leader with strong communication skills
-Has experience within the investment/trade/financial/investment banking industries.
-Is an expert in modern front-end technology, frameworks, and libraries
-Has strong architecture and programming skills, such as html5, sass, backbone.js, responsive design, cross-browser development
-Has Webapp frameworks knowledge
-Has experience setting up multiple environments and deploying applications on AWS
-Has experience with Agile Methodology
You bring
-2+ years’ experience managing and leading a team
-Knowledge in investment/trade/financial/investment banking industries.
Bonus points
-If you have test drive development experience
-If you know server-side programming languages
-If you have experience with node.js, express, mongoDB, PostgreSQL
-If you have mobile web development and deploy automation experience
